CHUCK – TV Series

November 6, 2009

Chuck - TV Series

My rating : 8.0/10
Genre : Action – Comedy – Romance – Drama
Plot:
When a twenty-something computer geek inadvertently downloads critical government secrets into his brain, his former college friend turned CIA recruits him as a secret agent, all while keeping him out of evil hands.
(Computer geek by day, Government operative by night)

More Info: here….

Really it is a classic story about man who is being forced to be the man he is meant to be. Chuck has the potential to be someone that can own Software Company but years as a lowly computer store clerk have obliterated his self confidence. On the flip side, it is the story of a girl who has been running around saving the world and just wants a normal life.

I guess if you don’t have sympathy for the character you will never understand what is great about this show. It is FAR more than a bunch of spy clichés.

Very Enjoyable (if you take it for what it is)

The main character, Chuck, is a geeky, modest, conscientious and somewhat shy person who is suddenly faced with many challenges in his daily life, trying to keep together the different parts of his life at the same time. His field of expertise is fixing computers. We watch as Chuck Bartowski become an unwilling CIA agent but is completely clueless on how to behave like one.

I agree the show isn’t laugh-a-minute. However I think it far more than that. I once heard this show described as “joyous” and I think that is a perfect description. This is a show that should produce joy rather than laughter. Laughter is reflexive and ephemeral while joy is more lasting and requires sympathy for the characters.

I think, Viewers who are passionate about technology, I mean computer & stuff, will probably be especially likely to “get” the humor of this show. Yeah, sometimes, the fact that he doesn’t mean to be funny makes it even funnier (if that makes any sense). :-)

The Chemistry Between Chuck & Sarah

Another thing I love is the chemistry between Chuck and Sarah. It is more than just tension to characters are actually in love, different to the usual theme where the boy is trying to get the girl to like him. We know they like each other from the start. It is merely the circumstance that keeps them apart.

The relationship between Chuck and Sarah: Last but definitely not least the element that most makes the show worth watching. They play off of each other so well that it makes me really believe that Yvonne Strahovski really is a super sexy C.I.A agent and Zachary Levi is just some “nerd” that happened to land the hottest women on the face of the planet in the most bizarre sort of way. I love Chuck and Sarah.

My conclusions

If you have an open-mind and have even a hint of empathy then this is the TV Series that I’m really recommended for YOU..!!!

The Fray – “Never Say Never”

November 5, 2009

The Fray - Never Say Never

What’s the key to The Fray’s success? Songs you can relate to. And, The Fray return with the second single “Never Say Never”. I’ve been enamored by the piano-ballads stylings of this song since the very first time I heard. “Never Say Never” is such a masterpiece that present on the soundtrack of the film Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen..

The song is about a direct love between two people who are “pulling apart and coming together again and again”..

And yet, The Fray described it perfectly..

I think “Never Say Never” as “a syrupy ballad” that is nothing short of astonishing. There’s falsetto towards the end and its romantic, wistful and full of understated grace. Backed by strings and a swelling rhythm section, it’s a polished and positive step forward for The Fray..

Yap, enjoy the song & video… :-)

There’s some things we don’t talk about
Rather do without
And just hold the smile
Falling in and out of love
Ashamed and proud of
Together all the while

You can never say never
Why we don’t know when
Time and time again
Younger now than we were before

Don’t let me go
Don’t let me go
Don’t let me go..

Picture you’re the queen of everything
As far as the eye can see
Under your command
I will be your guardian
When all is crumbling
Steady your hand..

You can never say never
Why we don’t know when
Time, time and time again
Younger now then we were before…

Don’t let me go
Don’t let me go
Don’t let me go…

We’re pulling apart and coming together again and again
We’re growing apart but we pull it together
Pull it together, together again…

Don’t let me go
Don’t let me go
Don’t let me go…

Best Romantic Movie Quotes

October 29, 2009

Romantic of Love

For me, I like to watch movies for many reasons, but one is because of some great movie quotes. Once you hear something incredible in a movie, it becomes part of you and you never forget it. It’s recalled years later and makes the movie stand still in time.

So what I have done for you is complied my favorite movie quotes, and for this post is specially from romantic comedies movies, and my explanation for why they are all so wonderful.

1. Movie : “Rumor Has It”

The Quote:

I’m not going to stand here and tell you I can’t live without you, because I can…
I just don’t want to.”
- Sarah to Jeff

I feel this is one of the most raw and romantic quotes there is. Sarah is telling Jeff that she loves him so much that she doesn’t want anyone else, not then not ever. It is love in its simplest form in my opinion. Even though it was wrote into a script, it still has meaning to everyday people like you and me. Not everyone can experience that in their lifetime. But, hopefully I will, someday.. :-)

2. Movie : “Sleepless in Seattle”

The Quote:

“It was a million tiny little things that, when you added them all up, they meant we were supposed to be together. And, I knew it. I knew it the very first time I touched her. It was like coming home, only to no home I’d ever known. I was just taking her hand to help her out of a car and I knew. It was like… magic..”

Again, the romance and ideals behind this touch one’s heart, awaking the desires that we want to have that “one true love” and remind us that there is hope out there for us to find that which we do desire and deserve. A one, deep, “true” love, and that neither time nor distance could keep the lovers apart.

3. Movie : “Runaway Bride”

The Quote:

“Look, I guarantee there’ll be tough times. I guarantee that at some point, one or both of us is gonna want to get out of this thing. But I also guarantee that if I don’t ask you to be mine, I’ll regret it for the rest of my life, because I know, in my heart, you’re the only one for me…”

We all want to have that, the happily-ever-after that we feel we deserve. But the truth behind storybook romances is laid out in this quote. It gives us pause to think about how we will go through life – not only the joys, but the heartaches that will surely happen as well. And it is best kept in mind there will be hard times as we consider who we desire to spend the rest of our life with.

4. Movie : “The Prestige”

The Quote:

“I want… I want you to be honest with me. No tricks, no lies, no secrets.”

This movie quote touches my heart because this describes exactly what I want in a relationship. I want complete honesty. I don’t understand how you can love someone and not be honest with him or her, in fact I think it’s impossible..

5. Movie : “The Notebook”

The Quote:

“I am no one special, just a common man with common thoughts. I’ve led a common life, there are no monuments dedicated to me and my name will soon be forgotten. But in one respect, I’ve succeeded as gloriously as anyone who ever lived. I’ve loved another with all my heart and soul and for me… that has always been enough.”

It’s so pure and so honest, no manipulation, not even a little…!!! This is how I want to be remembered, not as a common man of course, but for who I am. I too am no one special, I am just a common man living a common life. How do you want to be remembered after you leave this life?

6. Movie : “When Harry Met Sally”

The Quote:

“I love that you get cold when it’s 71 degrees out. I love that it takes you an hour and a half to order a sandwich. I love that you get a little crinkle above your nose when you’re looking at me like I’m nuts… I love that after I spend the day with you, I can still smell your perfume on my clothes.. And I love that you are the last person I want to talk to before I go to sleep at night.. And it’s not because I’m lonely, and it’s not because it’s New Year’s Eve. I came here tonight because when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible…”

When Harry finds himself needing to explain why he loves Sally, he comes out with the most honest explanation of love I’ve ever heard. The little things are what makes love stick, not the big events, not the big mannerisms, but the things that linger after those big things fade. To her, his decision maybe seems irrational, the actions of a lonely man. But, Irrationality happens sometimes in love, especially when you feel you’re in danger of losing that love. This line makes me feel all warm inside no matter how many times I’ve seen it.

===========

I know We don’t live in a movie; this is the real world. But, for various reasons, each of these quotes have spoken volumes to me over the years, given me pause to think as I go through my own daily routines as well as daydreams. Contemplating the depth and value of love within my life..

Harsh Truths of My Real Life

September 11, 2009

tafakur

They say life is what we make of it. But for me, I don’t know.. For some reason, it can be true, but mostly it’s not that simple…

There is no doubt that life has its ups and downs. However, how we deal with them can sometimes make all the difference. Yeah, I want to share life harsh truths that I could learn from my own life..

  1. Friends Just Come and Go
When I was in high school at my hometown, sometimes I imagined spending most of my life with the same people. Then when I realized I had to move to college, that all changed. Once again, I made some close college friends but left them all behind when I moved when I’ve got the job.
  2. Friends will always come and go in my life; even though somehow I would have time to meet them again, but just for reunion, right..??? And now, all my friends are around the country and not exactly in meeting distance. It’s the thing that have to accept, many of the friends I spend time with now, might not be around in the next few years.

What I’ve Learned: There are an abundance of amazing people out there for you to meet and build relationships with. If you don’t have many friends, don’t stress, there are literally billions of friendship possibilities.

  3. I Won’t Always Get Exactly For What I Want
I know exactly all my dreams. I used to be able to get it, you know. But, just not exactly like what I’ve imagined. There were always twist and turn that made little bit different from what I’ve expected. Yeah, I mean, in all areas of my life. My job, habit, friends, mentor/supervisor/boss, or other people that I’ve ever met, and also items that I really want to have.
  4. Yeah, maybe You won’t always get what you want in life: people are going to be late, people will let you down, items you want won’t always be available, etc.

What I’ve Learned: Don’t look for happiness in material possessions and if things don’t go your way, learn to accept them. Life’s too short to stay miserable.

  5. Many People Will Like You, but Many Will Not
Yeah, I know and I can see it. Whether you are a celebrity, a charity worker or just a normal guy, there are going to be people that love you and like or admire what you do, but there’s also going to be plenty people that don’t like you. There are many possible reasons such as jealousy, similarities to them, or just not being someone’s ‘type’.
  6. What I’ve Learned: Not everyone is always going to like you, and that’s fine. If people want to spend time talking about you then that is their problem. You are perfect as you are. You shouldn’t need everyone to like you to have some form of self-esteem.

  7. Nobody Can Transform Your Life Like You Can
Wouldn’t it be lovely if we didn’t have to go up on stage, but we could just read a paragraph of a blog post and become a perfect public speaker? Or, wouldn’t it be nice if our friends could do daring things, and we would benefit from them as well?
  8. The support and help of others can only take you so far, you’re going to have to do your own thing to make big changes in your life situation.

What I’ve Learned: Do things for yourself and learn to stand on your own two feet. People you rely on won’t be around forever, and you don’t want to have to use others as a crutch to get anywhere in life.

  9. Experienced The Fail
Before I got my current job, I’ve submitted so many application to lots of company. All of them are oil & gas related. I’ve ever failed to pass test, failed on interview process, and ever failed on medical check-up too. But, one thing for sure, I know what I want, so I just keep trying and trying, learned to understand the cause (why couldn’t I pass interview, etc), even my friends disapproved or even laughed me about it.
  10. As the saying goes – “Only those who are asleep make no mistakes”, right..???

What I’ve Learned: You can learn a lot from others, but it is your own failures that are going to teach you the most valuable lessons in life. Learn from your failures, embrace them, and use them to drive you on to success.

  11. Rain Will Sometimes Cancel Play
On some occasions when you have your shorts on and you’re ready for the beach, it’s going to rain. Or, when you get to that first hole and you’re ready to tee off – the clouds will open. Things aren’t always going to go how you would like them to.
  12. What I’ve Learned: Don’t stress about the things that you can’t control. Learn to live with things that happen. Because I know, I can’t change the past, but I can change how that I react to things.

  13. There May Be No Tomorrow
At least, not for you anyway. We never know what is around the corner, a car crash, a heart attack; heck…even the end of the world is possible. Let’s face it, although we would all like to live till we are 70 years old, that’s certainly not always the case. There will be one day that is our last.
  14. What I’ve Learned: Make the most of each day. Make sure the people you care about actually know it, don’t worry about little matters, just make sure you spend time doing the things you love.

  15. Someone Else Will Always Have More
Whether it is money, partners, friends or even blog subscribers, there will always be areas where other people have more than you. That isn’t to say you can’t become abundant in whatever you want (i.e. someone always had more money than Warren Buffett until 2008 when he was noted to be the richest man in the world).
  16. The wanting of more actually holds a very important lesson…

What I’ve Learned: Just because someone has ‘more’, that doesn’t mean they are happy. Read the biography of any celebrity and they will tell you they enjoy their process of earning money, rather than what money can do to make them happy. In other words, focus on what you love, not what the thing you love can get you.

10 Answers You Should Know Before Job Interview

August 28, 2009

interview

With the competition keener than ever and the economy in a slump, you need to prepare for your job interview thoroughly. It’s no longer enough to offer a firm handshake to your interviewer, make eye contact, and nod pleasantly now and then. You need to prepare a dynamic application letter and resume. You need to research the company. And you need to present a confident image and develop the ability to answer tough questions on the spot.

Although no one can predict the questions your potential employer will ask, you can think about how you’d answer some of the commonly asked ones. Here are ten questions for you to consider and a few hints about how to answer them:

  1. Tell me about yourself.
Chances are the employer doesn’t want to know how much you weighed when you were born, when you learned to tie your shoes, or how much you had to drink last night. He or she wants to know how you would fit into the company and what your relevant job experience is. You might answer by asking the interviewer what he’d like to know. Or you might talk about your education, the fact that you’re a team player, or whatever you think might be important to this particular company.
  2. Why should we hire you?
Even though five people may be waiting outside, you need to sound confident, calm, and capable. Explain how your experience has prepared you for the job. Emphasize the qualities you think the employer is looking for, such as your outstanding work ethic or the fact that you’re a fast learner.
  3. What is your worst characteristic?
Some human resource specialists suggest that you make a virtue sound like a flaw. “I tend to be a perfectionist,” or, “Everyone says I work too hard.” But others say these answers have become clichés. Mention a minor flaw, such as, “I think I’m too outspoken at times, but I’m working on it.”
  4. Where do you want to be five years from now?
Let the interviewer know you’re looking for job stability and that you aren’t planning to use this job as a temporary stopping point in your quest for a better position. You
could say, “I’d like to be employed in a small company like this one, where I can learn,
    contribute, and advance.”
  5. Why did you leave your last job?
Never put your former employer or your co-workers in a negative light. Don’t blame them for your departure. Give a positive reason, such as you left to take advantage of another opportunity that was better suited to your skills.
  6. Tell me about a problem you had in your life and how you solved it.
Be prepared with a short answer that shows you’re resourceful. “I really wanted to go to a private university, but my parents didn’t have the money. I went to a community college for two years, worked part time and saved my money so I could attend the last two years at the college of my choice.”
  7. Have you had difficulties getting along with supervisors or co-workers?
You’d have to be a saint to have had no problems with the people you worked with. You might answer, “Nothing major. I try to get along with everyone.”
  8. How do you deal with stress on the job?
The employer wants to know if you’re going to run out the door when things get stressful. Ask yourself if you thrive on working with deadlines or if you need creative time to function more effectively. Think about how you handle stress and be honest. “I focus on the work I’m doing,” or, “I make time to work out at the gym.”
  9. What salary do you want for this job?
Rather than stating a definite figure, tell the interviewer you’d expect to get somewhere in the standard range paid for this position.
  10. Do you have questions for me?
Always have a few questions. They show that you researched the company. Ask about a
current issue the company is working on or how their recent layoff in another department
    affected company morale.

Remember– the job interview is a two-way discovery process. By doing your homework and answering interview questions intelligently, you’re striving to prove you’re the person for the job On the other hand, you need to decide–sometimes in the midst of the questions—if the position you’re applying for is what you want to do and if the company is where you want to spend most of your time for the next few (at least) years.

Karakter Manusia Berdasarkan Status Facebook

August 10, 2009

Facebook Status

Ngupdate status di Facebook mungkin sudah jadi makanan sehari-hari kita ketika lagi berstatus On-Line. Mo apa aja, dijadikan status.

1.  Manusia Super Update

contoh :
“Lagi makan di restoran A..”, “
Dalam perjalanan menuju neraka..”,
“Saatnya baca koran..”, dsb..

“penting” banget kek-nya yak..???

2. Sok tau..
Sotoy tenarnya..

contoh :
“pemerintah selalu memanjakan rakyatnya.. bla…bla… bla..”

Uih, kek-nya jago banget dah, padahal ga tau apa yang ditulis..ha3

3. Manusia Melankolis

4. Manusia Tukang Ngeluh
Ga pagi, ga siang, ga malem, ga dikasih ujan, ga dikasih panas, ga dikasih uang, ga dikasih makan, pokonya semuanya dia keluhkan..

Contoh :
” Jakarta maceeet..!! Panas pula..”,
“Aaaargh ujan, padahal baru nyuci mobil..sialan. .!!”,
“Males ngapa2in.. cape hati gara2 si do’i..”, dsb..

Nggak ada kerjaan banget kek-nya, ngeluh-ngeluh aja…

5. Manusia Sombong

contoh :
“OTW ke Paris ..!!”,
“BMW ku sayang, saatnya kamu mandi..aku mandiin ya sayang..”, dsb..

Buat apa sih gini-gini..??Biar semua orang tau..??emang klo orang dah tau, trus..???

6. Manusia Puitis
Dari judulnya udah jelas. Status nya selalu diisi dengan kata-kata mutiara, tapi ga jelas apa maksudnya. Bikin kita terharu? Bikin kita sadar atas pesan tersembunyi-nya?

Figuring Things Out – The Real Life..

August 1, 2009

Right Place, Right Time

Life after graduate from college? I wish I could tell you..!!

My life, evolves..

It never turns out to be what I exactly expected.

It’s full of surprises, full of adventure, also, lots of problem too..

Sometimes, I found a hard truth, real truth, sometimes an inevitable truth..
Yeah, that’s life. If nothing else, its life..
It’s real, and sometimes the fact, it hurts..

But it’s sort of all we have, right..??

Yeah, When I see clearly from everything in my real life for now,
I can understand,

Great moments of my life won’t necessarily be the things I do,
They’ll also be the things that just happen to me.
I’m not saying I’m not take action to affect the outcome of my life.
I’ve tried so hard in every aspect of my life, you know..
But, I always believe about something that, on any day,
I could step out the front door and my whole life can change forever.
For example,
A few months ago, when I have to attend an interview to this company where I’m working right now. Simple interview, and out of nowhere, I got my dream job..

You see,
The universe has a plan..And that plan is always in motion.
A butterfly flaps its wings…and it starts to rain.
It’s a scary thought.
But it’s also kind of wonderful.
All these little parts of the machine constantly working,
making sure that I end up exactly where I’m supposed to be,
exactly when I’m supposed to be there.
The right place…at the right time. And, Here I am…

So, there you have it..
There’s a lot of little reasons why the big things in our lives happen.
If I had known then where all those little things were leading me,
and how grateful I’d be to get there..
Because somehow, I ended up in the right place at the right time.
Especially when you consider how easy it end up there..
And, as a result, my life would never be the same..

Yeah, I’m just excited to see things that are waiting for me in the future, you know.. :-)

Here I am, so young & strong,

Right here in the place where I belong..

Mom & Dad, I’m Coming Home..

July 17, 2009

pulang-senja

Finally, I got holiday time for couple of days…
And, I’m coming home, tonight…

God..It’s been more than a year that I haven’t seen my home.
Yeah, Home..The only place in this planet that I can consider as heaven.
A place where I’ve been raised with warm love of wonderful family..
A place where I was born and grew-up, studied and played, cried and laughed..
A place with thousands memories..

You know, whatever things that I’ve been through right now,
inevitable struggling of job complex, or stressful process for Self Development,
I always know one thing for sure, FAMILY COMES FIRST..
That’s why, When I have a time to come home, I go.
Even, just a little bit of time.

Before I went away to college far away from my hometown,
I’ve made promise to myself.
That, I wouldn’t let down my parent’s hope,
In academic things, character, religion, and financial.
To be a kid that have been gifted by God to my parents.
To be a kid that took part as God’s presents to my parents.
Not just a kid that is throwing his life to nothing.

Whaaaw…
Mom & Dad..Look at me, look at your son for what he has became right now..
Please, enjoy the moment and the pride, You both deserve it..
Son that you’ve raised through pain, tears, joy, and love..
When I open the door’s home, and meet them,
the first thing that I want to do is to cry on their hand,
with a heart of fully respect and so thankful..
So they both know, How much I love & Miss them,
and how much I feel grateful to have parents like them..

Mom & Dad..
Deep inside my heart, I do really hope,
You both always feel grateful to God, because God gives you a son like me..
That’s one of my basic principle for my way of life…
Love you, Mom.. Love you Dad…

My Role as Piping Engineer in Oil & Gas Industry

July 13, 2009

From here :

Wisuda Armet

To here :

Blog

My father said to me once: “Life is a journey.
And the road we travel has twists and turns,
Which sometimes lead us to unexpected places, and unexpected people.”

Yeah, I really understand that. Lots of unexpected things happen to me. A few years ago, I was just no one, just a kid from small town.

But now, you see, after I’ve graduated from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), God gives to me my dream job as Piping Engineer in EPC Oil & Gas multinational company. As Piping Engineer, currently, I am being assigned to the field, involving on Project at LBO Plant of Pertamina RU II in Dumai, Indonesia.

The picture is an example of my photo when I’m standing in front of Piping System at project location where I have to sketch the modification based on Code ASME B31.3 and Client (Pertamina-SK) requirements.

Piping Systems

Well, what can I tell you about Piping Engineer’s life? Before answer that question, I would like tell you about Piping System first. The piping systems are an essential and integral part of our modern civilization just as arteries and veins are essential to the human body. In Oil & Gas industry, Piping System is carrying crude oil from oil wells to tank farms for storage or to refineries for processing. You can see the picture below to get the idea about Piping Systems application.

Self Awareness..

July 11, 2009

self-awareness1

For every being cursed with self-awareness,
there remains the unanswerable question:
Who am I?
How do I “connect” with others?
There are nearly seven billion people on this planet.
Each one, unique, different.

We struggle to find meaningful connections to one another.
Maybe, We are the caring friend…
or, The loving father…
The doting mother…
The protected child…

We fight and we love in the hope that somehow,
together, we can understand our significance in the universe..

But in the end, no one can share our burden.
Each of us alone must answer the question…
“Who am I?”
“What does it mean to be alive?”

And in the vast infinity of time,
“how do I matter?”

This quote is from Heroes 3rd Season Eps 24.. This quote strikes me at some points. Yeah, of course about myself, my future, and my world. By my world, it means, my faith & believe to God, my family that I’m really grateful, my friendship circle with easy judging attitude, my job that makes me struggle to understand, or, wondering the girl that I can introduce as my wife someday.. And, how do I matter for all..??

Simple..It is What It is..

It is what it is.. Accept it

At the end of The Unforgiven, Gene Hackman laments to Clint Eastwood, “I don’t deserve this—to die like this.” Eastwood’s classic response: “Deserve’s got nothing to do with it.”

The same can be said for the way we look,
the way we live our lives,
the way we are treated by others,
the money we’re born into/not born into,
the talents we have/don’t have…
Life is unconcerned with “deserve”..!!

Life is… what life is.

You know, I see people fighting this reality at every turn, and the results of the struggle are ugly. You don’t believe me? Just try to consider the people you know in a professional context: do you know someone…(below?)

  • Not getting the job because s/he is too proud to ask for help? (”I deserve the job that I can find by my own!”)
  • Limiting his/her career by refusing to engage in politics? (”I shouldn’t have to play games!”)
  • Walking into a crisis by refusing to mitigate foreseeable risks? (”People are supposed to follow directions, so that won’t be a problem!”)
  •

Deserve..?? Should..?? Supposed to..??

As far as I am concerned, to be both successful and happy, the only prerequisite is to accept what is. Plans made on the basis of what should be are doomed to fail. Judgment—in the form of phrases like “deserve,” “supposed to,” “should be,” and the granddaddy of them all, “if only,”— is nothing but a heart breaker. Plans based on what is, on the other hand, work.

6 “Dosa” Pembunuh Karir

June 22, 2009

careers & jobs

Walk the Path You Choose, Not Someone Else’s

June 8, 2009

The Path

Recently, I got training about Self Development, you know, about Life path or something like that. I’ve noticed, the whole concept is the same. At least, almost same as my principle towards life.. Well, I guess, I just want to share it. I hope it’s useful, especially for me.. :-)

Admit or not, We are a product of our environment. It is true that we are shaped by environment, our parents, teachers, and friends. The question is, can we break from this conditioning or is it permanent?

Below is a few things so we can walk the path that we choose, not just follow others..

1) Plan The Path

One of the greatest methods to walk your Path is to plan that Path. People who seem destined to walk a Path set by someone else, do so because they fail to think outside the box they have been put in. They accept the Path placed before them and never question or envision it any differently. Those who break free, see the vision of their dreams and desires, not as some fairytale, but as something that can be achieved, something to make plans toward.

Do you walk a life of no planning, or do you walk the Path you choose?
Do you see your dreams as attainable, and work toward them, or mere fantasies?

My Movie Collection : A Beautiful Mind

June 7, 2009

A Beautiful Mind

My Rating : 9.9 / 10
Genre : Biography, Drama
Plot Keywords : Nobel Prize, Based on True Story
More Info : here at IMDB

a

1) MASTERPIECE MOVIE

A Beautiful Mind was by far the most original, intelligent and entertaining movie I have ever seen. I have seen a lot of movies in my time, but this movie just took me by storm. Its uniqueness, ironically enough because it was based on a real life situation.

This movie provided a brilliant (pardon the pun) insight into many aspects of a genius at work. And, I think, this movie is by far one of the most compelling movies of our generation. It’s really more than deserved to be included on my collection list. :-)

It touched me on many levels. The psychology of the movie was intriguing, the mathematical philosophies was realistic, and the icing on the cake making the movie stand out was surprisingly the humanistic side of Love. While love is a common basis in most movies, the interaction of this theme with other aspects of the plot was planned phenomenally.

2) INSPIRING QUOTES

The Only Thing Greater Than the Power of Mind is the Courage of Heart..
He Saw The World In A Way No One Could Have Imagined..
I need to believe that something extra ordinary is possible…
